Yes, I reserve a limited number of sliding scale slots for individuals and couples who may need financial assistance.
To determine the fee, I consider household income and family size. For example, my sliding scale can go down to $75 per session for those with lower incomes.
If you're interested in a sliding scale spot, we can discuss your specific financial situation during our consultation call to see where you might fall on the scale.

I am private pay only. While I don't accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. You can verify your OON benefits using the benefits calculator below.
If you would like to use OON benefits, please let me know in the Client Welcome Form.

There is no concrete answer unfortunately. Trust me, I wish I had a magic wand that could instantly make everything better! HOWEVER, I’ve noticed that the clients who improve more quickly are the ones who are willing to try new coping skills and endure temporary discomfort for long-term healing.

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document designed to provide you with a clear and transparent understanding of the expected costs associated with your therapy. As mandated by the No Surprises Act, I am required to offer this estimate within 24 hours of our first session. The GFE serves to protect you from unexpected medical bills, empowering you to make informed decisions about your healthcare within your budget. It will include an estimate of the yearly expected cost, detailing the cost per session and, if possible, an estimated number of sessions.
It's crucial to remember that the GFE is an estimate, not a guarantee, and actual costs may vary depending on the progression of your treatment. Signing a GFE does not bind you to committing to therapy for a certain amount of time. Ultimately, the Good Faith Estimate aims to provide you with financial clarity and predictability, ensuring you feel confident about your investment in your mental health care.

As an LPC-Associate in Texas, I'm working under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). This means that while I'm qualified to provide therapy, I'm also receiving ongoing guidance and oversight from a more experienced clinician. This supervision ensures that I'm providing you with the highest quality of care, adhering to ethical standards, and continuously developing my skills.
This is a standard requirement in Texas for LPC-Associates as we accumulate the 3,000 hours of supervised experience needed to become fully licensed. Think of it as an extra layer of support and expertise built into your therapy!
